Courtney Epps

Assistant Artistic Director | Founding Company Member

Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Courtney Epps began her dance training at the age of 7 at the Roxbury Center for the Performing Arts. In 2010 she furthered her training at a performing arts high school called Boston Arts Academy where she was a dance major and graduated in 2014. in 2011, Epps became an original member of Jo-Me Dance, when the 2nd company and entire organization was first founded. after a few years with Jo-Mé 2nd company she was invited to join the 1st company (Jo-Mé Dance Theatre) where she continues her dance career and is one of there resident teaching artist. Courtney continued to develop her passion for dance and her training at the Ailey Schools certificate program in New York in 2015, she later graduated in 2018. She is now currently part of the dance faculty at Boston Arts Academy where she is teaching Horton technique. Courtney was announced the Associate Artistic Director in 2021 of Jo-Mé Dance Arts and continues to seek to press forward as professional performer and sharing her expression through her art.
